With the June election for Torrance Mayor and City Council almost upon us, we can review the past records of Torrance City officials' support for our airport. Chen and Kalani are running for Mayor; Mattucci and Griffiths are running for Treasurer.
Shown below are their votes on specific airport issues and the final result of the council's vote. Favorable votes are shown in GREEN and unfavorable votes are shown in RED.
The RATING for each candidate is percentage of FAVORABLE votes out of the TOTAL votes they cast. If the candidate did not vote, was absent, or recused themselves, that is not counted against them.
Mike Griffiths was not on the City Council after June 2024.
